Books
Do Hard Things Alex and Brett Harris: This book taught me that the excuse they are only a kid is not a real limitation. Just because you are a kid that does not mean you can't do great or hard things.
Atomic Habits James Clear: What this book taught me is some of the things that we do and ways to fix it, Like procrastination If you procrastinate set multiple reminders on your phone to keep bugging you and disrupting you so you will get up and do whatever it is you need to do.
The Way Of Men Jack Donovan: "When men evaluate each other as men, they still look for the same virtues that they'd need to keep the perimeter. Men respond to and admire the qualities that would make men useful and dependable in an emergency. Men have always had a role apart, and they still judge one another according to the demands of that role as a guardian in a gang struggling for survival against enroaching doom. Everything that is specifically about being a man-not merely a person-has to do with that role.
Don't burn this book Dave Rubin:“Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you.” In other words, today’s progressives have now become the sexists and racists they’ve claimed to hate.”
The Art Of War Sun Tzu: This book taught me some of the tactics of war back then and what was considered manly. Like they mainly did things on horses with swords and the men were expected to fight at some point in their life have a family and have a job.
Can't Hurt Me David Goggins: Some of the things I took from this book is the 40% rule When you think your giving 100% you are actually giving about 40% so you have 60% more that you can do and once you realize that it is much easier to accomplish the things you are trying to do wether its getting a job or working out or whatever.
Endurance Alfred Lansing: This book showed the prime example of endurance, what I learned is there is always an end to all hard situations but they end faster when you endure and just keep pushing and not giving up and putting all your energy towards the end goal which may be survival or a role or a place.
relentless Tim Grover: One of the things I learned from this book is that cleaners like Kobe and Jordan don't get caught up in the celebration. After Kobe won a championship he would go have an interview get a ring sign autographs and then go train he didn't go get drunk at some party he went and started practicing for the next season of basketball that next year.
The Obstacle Is The Way Ryan Holiday: This Book taught me to use the failures and the hard things as a launchpad to success. It taught me not to be upset about failures and not to give up when faced with an obstacle but to get past it use it and become better from it.
Sovereignty Ryan Michler: A quote that stood out to me in this book is, "What if the psychopath/mass murderer isn't interested in hugs, rainbows and fairytales? No, what we need are men who are adequately prepared, trained, and equipped to distribute consequences to the enemy of public and individual safety."

12 Rules For Life Jordan B. Peterson: "A condition of complete simplicity,(costing not less than everything) and all shall be well and all manner of things shall be well when the tongues of flames are in-folded into the crowned knot of fire and the fire and the rose are one" this is a quote Jordan Peterson includes in the book.
projects/challenges: Yes sir no sir, This really got me on a good track of saying it because before Apogee I would say I to my parents and that was about it. But now I say It to anybody who is ok with it. Family rules, The rules my family and I set are still being implemented pretty well to this day. These rules helped decrease the amount of arguments and conflict and increased the amount of happiness and productivity. CEO project: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1CN4CWydSQqkgn75VwPsg5mWkRcSlwuqnwIqGyBTKPsw/edit#slide=id.p This project taught me how to talk to people I don't know and the importance of them knowing what I am interviewing them for. Safety plan: This has helped because since then we have had situations where we needed to use the safety plan or got real close to needing it.(this link includes work from multiple months) https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1TTf2Co6WmvZhnzuN9waJghOD886clTByJ85UeHxWcQ4/edit#slide=id.p

Kims game: This really helped me remember things and memorize things and over the course of about a week I got pretty good at it. Man skills: To me I think this is one of the most important things in Apogee because a lot of people especially people my age do not know how to do a single thing that I learned from this project and might never be taught any of it.
Garbage out: with this challenge I realized I started feeling more energized and happy and really overall more productive and energetic. Hospice/shelter
Big Brother: For this I mentored my little brother, We both enjoy sports so most of the mentoring was while playing catch with a football or baseball or a game of horse in the driveway. Some of the things I mentored him on was the importance of things like Apogee and the importance of being a good man.
Old School: This challenge was hard not in the sense of I don't know what to do other than video games but my friends who don't understand Apogee come over and want to play video games and dont know what else to do.
75 Hard: This has been a fun challenge, 75 Hard has been one of the best things i've done in my life. Right at first it was pretty difficult but over time I have noticed improvement and I am planning on doing phase 2 after the 90 days.
Workouts: Month 1: These workouts were hard for me because I had never done workouts to that level before. 2: These workouts were still hard for me but I felt like I wasn't having as much of a hard time because I did hard workouts in the previous months.3: week 1 workout 3 and 5 were the hardest in this month for me because I am not great at running as-well as all the other running workouts. 4 and beyond the same workouts started getting easier as I was better conditioned to do them.
